Talk comments

Good talk and nice introduction to the CMF. Demo should have been prepared a bit better.

Interesting talk that also reflects my experiences. I totally agree that working in close relation with the customer helps them understanding the complexity and difficulties of software projects.
What I missed a bit was how you can convince a potential customer to sign the contract with you and not your competitor who apparently knows how much every single item in the application will cost.

Very interesting talk that delivered exactly what it promised: step by step instructions on how to improve the performance of your website.
Timing could have been a bit better since there was almost no time left at the end for varnish (which of course would warrant a talk in its own right).

Great talk. As Lukas already pointed out there are other areas which are much more performance relevant. Still it doesn't hurt to adhere to the described practices.

It was an interesting talk. I didn't feel like it was for beginners since it's always good to be sometimes reminded of what the basic principles actually are.
More examples from existing OSS projects would have been helpful.

@David Coallier:

"Yesterday I came back from Verona, after an intense phpDay.
It was surprisiling amazing.

I'm not just talking about the quality of the talks and the speakers, I'm talking about the mood, the phpness.
Quoting the closing keynote by David Coallier, and without any mean to be freak or odd, I think I've finally embraced my phpness."

Tante cose già conosciute e usate ma interessante il collante di value stream map. Uno dei TODO di questo phpday. Grazie (mi hai fatto venire voglia di riprendere in mano gli strumenti Lean).

Too short talk, but this is not a speaker's fault. I agree that Joe is a great speaker. Well done!
