Having never used Guzzle myself but wanting to try this was a very welcome introduction. If the speaker was looking to expand the talk they might want to look into swagger to generate the specification from comments in the API itself instead of writing everything by hand.
Lots of stuff in the talk should be second nature to all programmers, but it doesn't hurt to re - iterate every now and again. Split screen worked well I think.
An ending keynote as an ending keynote should be.
I did already know quite a lot of this stuff, but it's always interesting to see what tools other people are using (and how they are using them). I did learn quite a few new things.
As for Lorna, she's a really good presenter and is able to bring her talk in a very pleasant way.
Fantastic
I concur, quite a dry talk and hard to follow due to the poor audio (back of the room at least, not that the speaker can do anything about that). As a non-Brit, you probably don't know what all the agencies do he refered to.
Nontheless still interesting in the light of recent events like Snowden.
Great talk. Very well presented. The info gained will ensure an easier transition of apps to GAE.
I do believe it was a firewall issue...
Anyway, hard one to rate content wise, but I did like the way it was brought.
Perfect talk to end the conference. Interesting, funny and educational. Thanks.
Interesting talk! Speaker really knew what he was talking about. Code examples where incomplete sometimes, having you guess where certain things came from.
