Brilliant talk and great delivery. This was the one that really blew mind mind (maybe as it was at the end of the day). Can't wait to re-watch on video and really look into the topic more.
Ross's presentation style was snappy and funny, which helped keep people on board with a complex topic.
Thanks, this was one of my favourite talks.
Pretty much echo what's already been said. Possibly a little too much time spent on new relic, which is a product many people may not be willing or able to buy and the free tier not offer the tools discussed.
More time on the open source alternatives would have been great.
All in all a good talk though and introduced some tools that I hadn't come across
Nice talk, but lost me half way on the new relic thing.
Exactly what's promised. Very practical, well presented. Good slides, there's something for everyone here but would love to see it go even deeper, especially for forms.
Very interesting talk and great speaker. Even when you're not a Drupal developer, it helps you think about how we tend to look at things we're not familiar with.
Excellent talk, humorous, informative and engaging. A talk on coding standards could have been a pretty dry topic, but Volker's delivery avoided that and made for a great session.
Thanks
Good speaker, well presented but the talk missed a clear point. It was almost a collection of interesting anecdotes or war stories. They were very entertaining and not every talk has to be practical but this could have used more focus. Some good info on government grants at the end. The slides could definitely use some work but the speaker was wonderfully dry and very natural.
Good topic, good speaker, just needs more focus.
As others have said, tough slot but great talk. Very entertaining and a lot of fun. If I had any criticism it might be that the middle of the talk could be edited or tightened up so there could be more user story examples at the end, as they were very helpful. Still, very enjoyable, maybe my favorite of the conference.
Fascinating talk, lots of interesting stuff here. Both well engineered and a different perspective than we normally see. This talk was partly about the principles rather than the actual BEAR.Sunday framework but I'd love to see this with MORE detail about the actual framework, it's very interesting and might clarify some points. Also, the speakers were surprisingly funny!
Definitely not the best talk I've seen (content wise), but for me it came as a light and refreshing 'break' from the more heavy/serious main tracks.
She probably does have quite a way to go presentation wise, but in some strange an particular way the nervousity/uncertainty combined with that great smile actually was very pleasant to see.
