Good insight to how the "big boys" handle pipeline architecture. Direct experience is always be than just learning the theory.

Great advice on putting together and organising a user group - definitely some stuff to take away for some of the groups I am part of!

Really useful and entertaining talk. Some great points that should apply everywhere.

Wasn't mad keen on the usefulness of the characteristics graphs; felt like an over-simplification used to sell the idea to management, and time would have been better on the meat later on. But a very interesting piece of work; a practical real-world implementation of what is I feel the future of PHP.

Thought I knew what php7 was about but apparently I didn't know all of it. Great overview and a very good explanation of the functionality that's on it's way. Some invaluable insights into the gotchas to be aware of when upgrading.

Yes, I do want to jump in and start using php7 now.
Thanks for making me impatient, Lorna!

Great subject. However, it felt like trying to cram a lot of information into a lightning talk.
The material was good, but this talk would have been better in a full talk.

While a good public rant at the foibles of PHP internals might have been a good catharsis, the talk avoided being over-ranty: and the structure approach of reasons why type-hinting should be implemented, the various approaches taken/discarded/taken/rejected/compromised/agreed/etc to explain why type-hinting has been implemented the way it is, then the details of what had been implemented and what the future might hold for further changes made the topic very easy to follow.

Well presented, although the nerves did show through on a couple of occasions.

An awesome and enjoyable talk about something that's been much needed in php for quite some time. Was an entertaining and funny peek into the fun and games that can only be found in php-internals

Amused at the of the insights I recognised into managers that I've had, and embarrassed at some of the traits I recognised in myself as a manger... avoiding the more obvious pitfalls of the phb in Dilbert can only take you so far, but this advised on some of the less obvious failings to avoid.

Amusing and insightful in equal parts; and provided a few references for future reading

Was a great insight into the internal process of proposal to implementation along with the internal politics/policies.

Shows how much hard work and time has been put into implementing Scalar "Types".
