I never knew it possible to inject so much passion into a regex presentation. Kudos.
Great talk. Gave me some ideas on some code pieces that I really need to fix. Thanks!
Never heard of a run book until now - fabulous idea.
SOLID adaptation to php. I sent word back to the office: Code Calisthenics start Monday and will run for a month. Rafael was entertaining on point. I'm off to buy a thesaurus....
Derick provided a glimpse of the power of crowdsourcing for GIS tags, nodes, ways and areas. It has the potential to remake our relationship with geography and the space we live in. I'm so glad I attended his talk. Very well organized and presented.
Marion, thank you for your great feedback! I apologize about the audio difficulties, we did do a mic check, but it sounds like we need to be more thorough next time and ensure audio levels are good around the room. Again, I apologize for that. And thank you for your feedback on wanting more examples of when traits shouldn't be used. I will definitely work on improving this presentation.
Nice material, strong introduction to testing. Teased the audience a bit with the mocking db and not going into any details regarding integration testing.
Great talk and overview of mapping resources, including pubs.
Talk about changing the world with software! Kudos!
I didn't realize how far HipHop had come, and how useful it could potentially be for projects on a smaller (much smaller) scale than Facebook. This was an excellent talk with tons of info, but was well organized and delivered so it didn't feel overwhelming. Thanks, Sara.
