Pros: Energetic speaker. Good knowledge of the materials. Provided info on where to find tutorials to follow on my own.

Cons: At times a frenetic speaker moving a little too quickly. Would have liked a better overview of the what and why preceding the how shown in screen shots.

Joe was very helpful before the class helping me the environment set up. The talk was very informative, a good introduction to Laravel.

Good talk. Alex knows his stuff on the subject matter and gave a good overview of PHP tools.

A negative was long pauses in the presentation's flow .

Chris was very knowledgeable about the subject matter and took time to answer questions.
Its a tough talk to give with the subject matter being so dry and I appreciated his efforts to engage the audience.

My (hopefully constructive) criticism is to clean up the slides for grammar and clarity. The errors were distracting.
Nazi grammar tip: 90% of the commas were not needed.

Great, at times playful, talk walking through examples of eloquent and doctrine and discussing the trade offs.

Great talk - lots of pointers. Gives me hope for my own legacy (non-Laravel) applications.

Great speaker, obviously very knowledgeable. Had a few snafus he resolved wicked quick - so it didn't detract at all.

Great technical JavaScript talk that had lots of good examples and helpful slides. Talk moved pretty fast but covered many areas that helped me understand why JavaScript behaves the way it does. Very helpful talk.

Yum! The meat and desserts were excellent.

Good talk that introduced important concepts and tools available for development. I would have liked to see more technical details on implementation to fill in the rest of the hour. The direction given was good though to help attendees know what is available and good practices. The lighting made the grey on black text a little hard to read.
