Talk comments

This talk prompted me to experiment with Phing and various code quality tools - based on practical advice from this talk, I have an almost-working pre-deployment experimental test suite configured. Good presentation, easy to follow, good pacing.

nice overview of Redis. Live demo is a nice touch. Clear delivery, well presented.

Great overview of Redis, very impressive load demo. Nice addition would be more examples and demos with PHP code showcasing common practical use cases.

Security is as important as ever. I was pleased to see that you enjoyed the topic and were well-versed in the culture around it. For a brief session, this was informative and interesting. The references at the end of the presentation were helpful, and I will be perusing through them later.

Scary and awesome at the same time. Great reminders about how innocent data sharing could be used in "interesting" ways.

Good to finally get a bit more background on HHVM. I really need to start looking into it, as I very much like the concepts of HHVM and this talk convinced me that I should put it higher on my priority-list of things to look at.

Excellent talk. Lots of little details that most people oversee or just not think about got mentioned by Chris. A constant flow of those, actually. This could've easily been made into a tutorial-session.

You introduced some interesting tools which I may consider using down the road. Because you had a decent grasp of the topic, I was wondering if you could provide more depth on it, and perhaps some more slides. The audience did well to fill in some of the blanks.

Great talk on HHVM and how it came into being. It would have been nice to see a bit more about the internals of the JIT compiler, and how the PHP code is converted into machine code. With that said I learned more about HHVM then I knew going into the talk, and appreciated the detail Sara covered.
