Talk comments

While I agreed with the overall notion of the talk and loved how it was presented, I would have appreciated a little more sensitivity relating some topics (for example, "save spaces").

The talk felt, especially after thinking and talking about it afterwards, one-sided. Sure, there are people out there who are harmed by technology and the way it's presented to us. But there are also many great examples of people who are enabled by technology and get into it because of the easy interface, but just don't stop there.

I also would have liked some constructive ideas on how to solve these problems.

As Kristijan already said, a quick introduction would have been helpful. I wasn't aware that this was an advanced talk and even though I have read up on Eventsourcing briefly, I wasn't able to follow all the time.

But even with this in mind, the topic was covered in a good and interesting way. I liked that you pointed out problems as well and not sold Eventsourcing/CQRS as a silver bullet. It was also interesting to see that you didn't go into details on which technologies to use but only stick to the idea and how to use it.

Pretty interesting and unusual story. Hope we'll get the "nodelike C++" thing opensourced. Also, maybe rename it to "node.cpp" :-)

Quite a good talk with a couple of very effective demos. Wished to have seen some more nitty-gritty details, but 25mins is obviously too short for that. Perhaps consider expanding the talk into a 45 minutes format.

Very good overview of microservices! I found a lot of good insights and advices on best practices. I personally like that the example is a simplified version of the real story, because that makes it simple to follow different approaches without trying to grasp a more involved architecture of a complex system. I do agree with others that the speaker was turning his back to the audience too frequently, in order to point out various details on the slides. I advise using more slides with less elements, or maybe more versions of the same slides with different elements emphasised. Other than that, the delivery was great, the speaker seemed quite relaxed and casual, and wasn't disturbed by some minor technical difficulties.

Nicely delivered talk on a career path and recommended reading. Looking forward to hear about the lessons learned after the company gathers more data.

The initial queue was a bit sucky, but it cleared up quickly enough, and there was no problems getting a quick refill after that. Maybe order more pies next time :-)

Very nice talk with a lot of practical advices. Good delivery and a right pace. Even though it was the last talk of the day, I had no problem following it.
