Paul took a very in-depth, level-headed and scientific approach to everything that he talked about. He documented *everything*, accounted for variability as best he could, and disclosed precisely what he *didn't* know or *couldn't* account for.
More importantly, when he's answering questions, he asks to ensure that he's actually answered the question that was asked of him.
Nice ideas. Would have like to have seen a little more results from more than hello world. But that was probably more than an hours worth of info.
Very entertaining, much like his talks last year @ ZendCon. Makes a lot of valid points, I found myself checking my own sites/servers for vulnerabilities as he named them off.
Very basic talk, was little more than a live reading of the manual & docs. Props to him for trying to get people interested in Doctrine, but I was hoping for something a little more in-depth or advanced. At least, was hoping for something more original.
Well done. Good mix of concrete examples, discussion, and humor.
Hella useful, I've struggled to find explanations of how to use git that really cover what I need to know Stefan managed to do just that for me. Thank you for this talk now I can stop floundering around with Git
Was a great talk. Gave me exactly what I was looking for in order to get started looking into Git and comparing it to SVN. Thank you very much. Now that you have scratched the surface on the subject hopefully I can run and figure some more out on my own.
A lot of good information. I like when a talk leaves me with topics to research and this talk did that.
It was a good presentation, I think it would have been better with more technical examples and anecdote's. Some server-side examples (even a ten line PHP script) would have been great, perhaps building a fully working, and super simple app, with both client and server side working.
Excellent talk about phpcloud.com. I am looking forward to getting to try it out more than I did with projectx. Excellent cape. I remember when cloud deployment was a sparkle in Kevin's eye.
