Overall a good talk, loved that you covered most of the aspects and made it perfectly clear that i18n is more than translating texts.
The thing I think it was missing was how you can architect your solution with this in mind, how to actually start building that layer so it does not get in the way.
There are a lot of things we do not pay attention to, taking notes is one of them. Never did I actually think about the paper I am using or the type of pen.
Not sure how much I will get to apply out of the things I learned, but I did learn them so that a big + for me.
You talked about two things that one put together make me run away in fear. You did in such a way I only ran far enough to still hear to you talk!
Good well paced talk. Could use a few screenshots of actual results (the "look it's working" slides). Other than that, you might want to highlight even more how cool vagrant actually is with some more usecases.
Excellent talk, practical and to-the-point with clear code examples. Very impressive for a first-time speaker!
I wasn't sure what to expect from this talk, but it really surprised me. How can someone talk about kinds of pens and paper at actually make it interesting? Well, Adam did it! I took some awesome new techniques for note taking from this talk. I liked the overall style of the slides and the level of detail. Try to appear more enthusiastic as that might make it perfect.
I liked the concept of this talk and it gave me some new tricks I can use to improve my searches. The presentation itself could be better, it was a little slow and boring at times. The actual use cases and live demo were interesting.
Great talk that helps you think about the things you need to consider before and while building an API.
The talk felt (and was) a bit short, but I'm not sure if there was more to tell about the technique :) it was well brought and nice to listen to. Maybe you can think of more benefits you can get by using the technique to lengthen it, like estimation and planning.
Unfortunately I missed a part of the presentation, but what I did see I liked a lot. And those slides!!
