Talk comments

Four thumbs, mainly for the way Rik presented the subject and made it very easy to listen to. Great public speaking skills. As for the contents of the talk: I loved the introduction, but I missed technical debt.
Even though it didn't trouble me, using terrorism as key subject of your talk is questionable. It's hard to predict if the timing and the tone with which you talk about it land with your audience the way you would like to.

Loved this talk. Good pace, experienced speaker, great content. Thanks!

Decent keynote talk. Even though the subject wasn't tailor made for me, it was well worth listening.

The closing keynote was in the spirit of the conference. Exploring new ideas, hacking, trying out new things, playing... Also very well presented and fun!

Hands down the best talk of the conference. Important and interesting subject. It has hacking, programming, research, fun parts... Just perfect.

Good to see the Ruby community opening up, although after the intro the speaker gave, I was expecting examples and ideas they got from working with and learning from other communities.

Good talk, although I was missing a... convincing of why event sourcing and cqrs is good for me.

There was a lot of code in the slides, and after a while I just couldn't keep track of what is being done where and why.

The most advanced and technical talk I heard at the conference. Even though I didn't understand most of it (all of it? :D) I do believe it was good to see and hear it, because it does show what is being done by the academics in computer science.

An inspiring talk that finally managed to put into words what was in the back of my mind for a while - "Throw away your ego!"

Every programmer, involved with OSS or not, should hear this talk. I hope to start using some of the advice from this talk in my day-to-day job as well as in my OSS work.

This talk woke me up, in more ways than one.

First, the speker is super-energetic, not afraid to make a fool of himself - which makes him a pleasure to watch.
Second, the "internet of things" isn't just some marketing blah used as an excuse to slap electronics in everything (like a kettle, so you know when the water boils. Really??). You can actually do some really insane but cool things, if you only try. And try we will!
