Well done. Very brave for all of the live demoing, I know how easily it can go wrong. :)
Learned a lot, looking forward to toying with Ansible for some side projects. :)
Excellent talk, I learned things that would have saved me hours of headache and misery just 2 weeks ago. It was also really helpful just to see some useful options you were passing to git, like all of the git log options. :)
One small recommendation, since the path in your prompt was very long, it would cause most commands to line wrap, and the projector would cut off 1-2 characters on the side of the screen, making it hard to know some of the options you used. So it'd be awesome if you could move or use a symbolic link in your home directory to your example data directory, so we would see ~/dpc14/ instead of ~/data/some/other/directory/cannot/remember/dpc14/. :)
This felt more like an introduction to PhpSpec: here are some mathers, we also have these matches, you can also do this, but it seemed like Kacper didn't actually try to convince me that PhpSpec was *the* tool for me or why I should use it?
Perhaps the light were really bright, but do try to look up a bit more.
Interesting story and well spoken. Looking forward to the nginx talk on caturday.
Scato knows what he's talking about, but considering this talk was labeled 'advanced' I thought the first 20-25 minutes were a bit too basic.
Would've liked a more practical approach and some more PHP (or javascript).
It was nice to hear about the different methods of cross-domain communication, but in the end it felt like something we could've googled ourselves.
To improve, perhaps try an AMAZING(tm) demo... or delve into less subjects but make the few things you do talk about more advanced.
Thank you all for your comments! The topic was more difficult than I expected to turn into a good talk, I'm sorry it didn't come across the way I'd hoped for some of you.
Robin S. - I forgot my pointer at home, it was definitely a bit frustrating to not have it with me.
I hope everyone got out of the talk how easy it is to get started with ReactPHP, no matter what you're using it for.
One of the more interesting talks of the day. Finally some code rather than "here is an idea, I like it, bye". Benjamin obviously knows what he's talking about and I was glad to see he knows about the different factory design patterns :).
Would've been better if there was more time for the talk, but that's my only complaint.
Great lightning talk. Brought to the table a serious issue currently with a lot of developers (including the team I am in). DDD (Debt Driven Development? ;)) is a very interesting method that Mathias explained very nicely.
