Jakub managed too share a lot of important security/vulnerability related information in a short time while keeping a nice flow and a pleasant way of speaking. Awareness on the many risks in web apps out there and how to solve them is really important. Only later I discovered Jakub isn't a professional speaker (yet), when I found out we've decided to let him win this years uncon contest: a slot at next years DPC!
Rick understood the time constraints of the short uncon slots very well and managed to share a lot of info and shortcuts in a very short time. Also he was open for complementing tips from the audience so I guess everyone learned from it
I thought I'd knew a lot of JS frameworks but this one I didn't know yet so I was happy to be introduced to it, you can never know too much! Also thanks for being the first speaker of the day :-)
Tobias came up with some very recognizable issues. I saw various people that have to deal with legacy code giggling ;-) But also he managed to point out how dangerous and costly technical debt can become. I think it's very important to create this kind of awareness
Mark is one of the few people that are able to explain the more advanced/obscure parts of PHP. However he managed to do this in humoristic way which, of course, involved cats ;-)
Well structured talk, I already knew something about the various components discussed yet I also learned lots today. Thank you!
Would love to see more talks on CS topics like the ones presented.
It is a pity that the talk went over time. Apart from that, great talk.
While it's probably hard to understand this kind of material right away it's nice to see a completely different way in which languages can be used. Bonuspoint for rendering the presentation with the demo application.
