Laracon EU 2014

Lisp is always something I've been curious about. Looking at the programme this talk immediately stuck out as one that was going to have nothing to do with Laravel but the speaker did well to try and throw in some PHP comparisons to keep his audience entertained.

The perfect mix of good story-telling, comedy and technical references tailored to the audience. Great to see someone with such influential potential teaching lessons that will expire such great work ethics and respectful discussion amongst professionals.

Took a lot of notes doing this talk. Very easy to follow and while it may not be too relevant to my work at the moment a lot of the principles were interesting to learn for the future.

Great talk, maybe a little too much info crammed in but definitely well presented and explained.

Brilliant use cases. Plenty of relevant scenarios to the audience members to help get the information across.

Wow, your talk was far wider than I imagined and touched upon my own experiences and struggles as a programmer. I was not expecting that. You presented with passion and a pace that fitted the subject. I felt the presentation was balanced and allowed the listener to explore their own bias without accusation or blame. This was a talk that I feel I will remember the longest.

Great talk and perfect timing for a little personal project to now convert to Elastic. Presentation was a perfect mix of concepts and examples. Clear and well paced. A great springboard to get back into playing with Elastic Search.
