Great delivery and great content in a well organized talk.
As someone who has given a talk on this same subject, I can attest that this is a terribly difficult subject to distill into a 3 hour, let alone a 50 min talk. Speaker did a good job of keeping pace.
This was an awesome talk. The content could even be used as a periodic refresher for people in a tech lead position. Speaker was well versed in techniques and also had good real-life experiences to relate that drove many points home. Highly recommend this talk.
Great overview of a several available tools. Good intro for people who have not had to deal with overall site performance in a long while.
Good overview of what's out there. Gave enough info to encourage me to deep-dive on my own.
Really enjoyed the talk. Had enough time to go a little bit more in depth if you wanted to, but it was a good overview of where you were, where you are, and where you are going.
Great insight into a major refactor of a popular framework with a vocal community. Larry makes a great case for injecting pragmatism into your refactor process.
Note to the speaker - those really animated moments are a bit loud. That's the only note I can give. Great talk!
Good talk, I definitely got a good bit out of it. Only suggestions would be that I'd like to seem more use cases from day-to-day development strategies with vagrant. (usage with PHPStorm, where built-time processes live, how to trigger them, how to manage sites with many services and their configurations for that particular VM).
