Good information. Looking forward to trying this out. Would have been nice to get some background on what is needed on the server side though.

One of the best sessions at Midwest PHP. Lots of good information and ideas on what to look for and do to make you database and queries more efficient.

Excellent talk! I would love to learn more about how this design can be applied with frameworks such as Yii.

I will definitely be buying books after this conference to keep up to speed with everything that was talked about :)

Not much could be extracted from this talk. I didn't know anything about backbone.js and still don't. It could be an interesting talk to show a real world application using backbone.js with PHP backend.

Great talk! Lot's of information covered, but it leaves you with wanting more and wanting to see how to try MongoDB and how to "shoot yourself in the foot" :D!

Good motivational talk to engage everyone at the start of the conference!

An amazing speaker and great presentation. Would have sat there for the entire conference if it wasn't for the time limits!

It is also very inspiring as an ever-learning PHP dev. to hear Sara speak. Thanks for the quick chat afterwards Sara!

This was a great intro to TDD ... it really meshed well with the SOLID talk, relating how the SOLID concepts make your app more testable. It got me thinking very differently about how to decompose things to make them testable.

Excellent coverage of how to avoid the common pain points when starting out with caching & performance tuning your site / app.

WOW! Really clarified HOW to roll up data and slice things in NoSQL.
