Great night! and whilst the tequila may have been free, I'm paying for it now.
great talk by Lorna, her analysis certainly raised some issues that will make me reconsider methods that i currently use. Only criticism, which i would hope isnt really a negative, is that Lorna mentioned a few things in passing (deployment being one) that i wished she would have had more time to discuss.
Can't wait to try out the measures outlined in this talk on some of my larger sites, though varnish and edge server includes give me the fear!
considering there was barely a mention of php this was still a great keynote. Great to listen to some general software development principles and see that they still applied to web dev.
Great talk mapping theory to real world and practical steps. I'd encourage that this talk is submitted to other conferences.
I was hoping for a little bit more information about using Drupal. However, the talk was a fantastic introduction to all of the different ways to speed up a dynamic website, what to watch out for, and how much performance is gained in each step. I now have a lot of reading to do one the subject. Thanks Marcus!

A good introduction to Yii, Steve did a live demo building a blog application in 30 mins! A lot of code flashed before my eyes but Steve showed how you can quickly build something with the framework. Thanks Steve.
a good talk with some good general insights into PM techniques. Unfortunately, the company I work for uses almost exactly the same techniques so I didnt learn a great amount. Did like the idea of trading features tho. Main disappointment is that i would love to have heard Rob doing a more technical talk about ZF.
