Enjoyed the banter - great to hear people's sides, and there were very good questions constantly fired by Marcus who never let it faulter.

I was hoping for actual practical examples of optimising ZF, but the talk was very general. Clear that Juozas knows his topic, and he invited any questions about specifics via email, which I really appreciate, but all-in-all not what I was hoping to get out of this talk.

Although he might invite criticism, it really is hard to fault Rowan's delivery stuff. It was very easy going, which showed comfort with the topic, and his presentaion style was great. Although the basic concepts of using Zend_Acl could be learned from the framework's manual, it was good to hear when it's best to (and not to) use assertions and various other methods.

The talk made me feel that I could actually go ahead and start unit testing applications, models, etc. very easily. Would have been nice to have touched on unit testing library files as well as the app and models, but I'm assuming the same concepts are used. Looking forward to the 'Green; fuzzy and warm' feeling from the unit tests. :-)

This talk was insightful and a real eye-opener.

It was a good talk, and I especially like it when keynotes aren't exactly about PHP but somehow manage to cover what developers go through. Also really appreciated that Lorna was receptive to questions after the fact and answered them with just as much enthusiasm as the keynote speech had.

Very cool format. Marcus refereed well, kept it moving, interesting and on track. Only tiny criticism is controlling the overly dominant personalities on the panel - looking at you, Mr. Zuelke! Not sure if that's humanly possible though. Excellent way to close off the day as it got people involved when they're normally falling asleep.

Interesting overview of the Facebook infrastructure and deployment. Scott manages to turn the heckling into interesting discussion, which means that some unexpected stuff turns up. I would have liked to see a bit more of the hands-on stuff though.

Always nice to be surprised when I hit a topic I think I know well and then new tidbits come out. Some helpful tips on encouraging the scientific method on identifying and fixing bugs.

Expert delivery. The middle bit was a bit code heavy for my tastes in a talk but I understand what you were getting at.
