Fantastic talk, even effectively using the technical difficulties to his advantage. As a product manager always in the middle of making estimations, this was particularly relevant, and one of my favourite talks of the show.
Wouldn't change a thing!
Good overview of what to expect for v2. Lots of content and not enough time made the presentation feel a little rushed.
otherwise was good talk.
Great venue, great music, decent choice of boozes, plenty of mingling. What more do you need?
Eye-opening and inspiring presentation, and delivered well to boot.
I enjoyed the first half, but the second half too me felt too up close and personal, and should have been (and probably was) a rant to her dev team, instead of to a hall filled with people unrelated to her dev team.
Even though she had some good points, I think they would be better delivered if presented in a more positive way, instead of the obvious negative personal frustration. I get that the talk is about what not to do, but that doesn't mean it has to be completely delivered that way.
Started out not knowing how things were going to be linking together, but within moments I was fully engrossed and following along. Most excellent choice for Keynote speaker and topic.
Even though I knew most of the stuff it's good to get them hammered in every once in a while because it's just so important, and as Paul correctly said we tend to get a bit complacent over time when it comes to security.
Paul is a very good speaker; very confident, relaxed and really knows his stuff. I liked this presentation a lot!
Not very thorough, and pretty short talk. Overall it was okay, but needs some work in my opinion.
Okay talk, but could have been better with more graphs of with varnish vs without varnish. Also more examples than just magento (which I personally do not care for) would have been nice.
Was a bit shocked by the "Just use AJAX to update the dynamic info once the page is loaded" comment. Apparently the speaker doesn't care about people who have javascript disabled in their browser for whatever reason.
