I guess I was expecting more about the what and the why of software architecture in a world where Agile is the thing. We did get some of the why which was very good. The speakers still was nice and relaxed and the "build a house" video was great - so true!

Even though the speaker admitted to being nervous at the start, he totally owned the room. The audience hung on his every word. Some great messages to take home - "Every time you criticise a WordPress developer, a Ruby developer gets to criticise you". I want to see the video NOW!

Thank you so much Volker - that was just great.

I would have to agree with some of the other reviews in that there was too much content on the slides. The content itself was useful and well structured. I would loved to have heard some more real world examples and anecdotes.

Very useful and practical look at what your tests are telling you about your design. Managed to relate all these test smells back to violations of SOLID principles - very clever. 5.5 stars. Thanks for the talk

I loved this talk. I have read about Kanban before, but this talk really brought it to lift. The speaker was entertaining and kept the audiences attention throughout. He knew his subject well and answered the questions with ease. It is also one of (at least!) there talks that included a slide with a kitten - do you know what the others? Answers on a postcard

As above, shame it got cut short, as I don't think we got on to the 'How' which is why I went (I imagine most of us already agree on the 'Why'). Having just looked at the slides Mark didn't get to it looks like there'd have been some expansion on how to get started, perhaps general open-source etiquette etc which would have been good.

A good talk with lots of interesting nuggets about recent version of PHP. We've even got yield now !

Great Speaker, would recommend anyone to see Gary talk. Animated and engaging.

This talk hit the nail on the head and explained the top security concerns briefly and clearly, really great.

I came away satisfied that I understood the top 10 and had some idea how to create the solution.

A super talk with plenty of smiles both from the speaker and the delegates. The delivery style was great too: Michelle didn't try to explain every aspect of Neo4j in depth, but instead guided the audience around the subject and then let the questions at the end fill in the gaps. It worked very well. Thank you
