Well delivered and insightful talk
The talk was the highlight of the conference for me. I've only begun to truly appreciate the value that lies in the community over the last 5 years, and everything which Cal said rang true for me. It definitely showed how valuable and how meaningful being a part of something much larger than yourself can be, and the rewards which it can bring to you, sometimes just by being a part of it.
Did a good job explained the key concepts behind using composer and packagist. Could potentially include more on Satis and Toran Proxy.
Great talk on the importance of community. An excellent way to start the day.
Although 'advanced' is relative to the experience one has, it's good to get confirmation one is doing the right thing. Thank you for sharing!
I still wonder what you we're going to tell about in regards to remotes! :)
Dinner was a nice, but not that much, I was still pretty hungry afterwards. That being said, I think it was great service, as this is usually when people scatter all over town looking for food.
The laser quest was awesome! Great way to get to know new people and who doesn't want to shoot @rdohms in the back?
I thought this would be "How to make sure you share knowledge with your colleagues, and how to make sure they share with you", but it was pretty much "How to be a conference speaker".
This talk was a real adventure all right. One of the best features is the fact that Lorna let the audience decide on the topics covered. And of course, the content was superb.
Some topics were advanced, some were not, but in the case of git, it never hurts to repeat (a lot).
A well thought out, well put together talk. The slides were clear, specific, and properly reinforced what was being communicated. The talk articulated some of the important aspects of composer, such as how to apply semantic versioning correctly.
