I would have skipped the intro / conversion rate stuff, and maybe focus more on when it actually makes sense to use traits VS other approaches (ie. composition).
The talk was just brilliant but I don't think it's the right opening keynote for a PHP conference.

Ian is a very bright chap. Well delivered
Most of it was sarcastic, and offensive. Unfortunately I didn't really understand what the point was.
Will be checking out but like to see some better examples of what can be achieved for more practical and useful scenarios.
Yes there was a sales pitch going on but it is free so thats cool. But useful all the same for native MySQL solutions.
Obviously there re major issues when you have a vast setup like FB. Interesting how to get around those issues. Super complex.
Great talk, entertaining speaker.
