Well delivered; well explained. Great job.

He could maybe use some tips/practice at how to give a good talk, and the powerpoint was the opposite of Death By Powerpoint, it was too minimal and dull (maybe needed some pictures/humour?). That said there was some useful practical info in there, just needed more work to be engaging.

Well delivered and inspiring talk; got me thinking.

Rob is always a good speaker and this looks like something I could really use rather than building APIs by hand

One of the best talks, things which seem obvious when you think of them but I have definitely been guilty of doing some of the things I shouldn't! I really liked how thinking about the language helps you think about the meaning and structure of your code.

I was a bit disappointed with this talk because I was expecting more focus on pros and cons of using ReactJS and valid/invalid uses cases for it. Instead I found it too focused on implementation details and examples. Then again, this is my personal taste when attending a talk about something I haven't used before...

Overall a nice talk but I cringed a bit when hearing certain things such as stating that developers should use a certain library because it's the most popular. I would personally stay away from such statements and instead recommend people to look at pros and cons before deciding :)

I was impressed on how the speaker managed to explain in 45 min what various University teachers fail to do during an entire semester :)

Always make a point of seeing Derick's talk as they're entertaining and informative; this was no exception!
