Talk comments

great presentation, very informative and very funny :)

Beer and Chocolate cookies. Do I need to say more? For everybody who missed the talk it was about beer and chocolates...... and (php) communities

I expected a lot more. But due to the slow connection to amazon the presentation was a bit slow as well. Also it felt like a sale pitch for Zend Server and Amazon. Which was kinda nice but not what I was hoping to seen.

A presentation that, from a hoster POV, covers just about every aspect. It's kind of awareness that is needed to educate PHP developers of their impact on server-side configurations.

The presenter made it a very informal presentation (small room, all in Dutch) with good audience interaction.

I liked the reference to the client case, and real-life config/code examples on how to implement this further.

Always interesting to hear a Facebooker speak, it's always with passion and interest. This talk was no different.

Hearing about these large-scale deployments and difficulties they face, always presents nice uses cases which he managed to use to keep the audience interested.

Spot on. All aspects of namespaces were covered, and explained well. Included with examples & references, I really learned a lot about a feature within PHP that is (at date) hardly used, but is needed in the future.

For feedback; keep the intro about yourself a little shorter. While important, namespaces are more so. :-)

This was interesting to see how applications can easily be extended to make use of the available public cloud services, and how Zend Framework managed to abstract these services for easy implementation.

A very nice demo, which showed Amazon's EC2 in interaction with ZF's Cloud extensions.
