Talk comments

Misleading title, this is really just an introduction to RabbitMQ. Very entertaining though!

Presenter had a great pace and good talk organization. Due to time constraints real life examples were not covered deeply which is something I think this talk needs. Would like to see the hour long version of it.

on Mockery

I was one of the people who was expecting a talk on UI :(

The content of this talk is very good but it could be brought better. It felt like Stijn was either very nervous or unprepared.

Very entertaining presenter with well organized topic.

Good introduction on the ubiquitous language and its importance, very suitable for newbies to DDD.

Maybe a bit too much slides the first few minutes of the talk giving me the impression they are just transcribing what the speaker was telling instead of just capturing the essence. However, this is probably just a matter of style of slides I am not used to.

Beau is a very fluent speaker, that's obvious, but sometimes a bit too 'dry' for my taste. He might want to spice up his talk a bit here and there with a funny anecdote or joke.

Very well prepared, we were all up and running in a matter of minutes!

Each talk by Mathias I find very inspiring, and also this talk was no exception. Very practical ideas on how to start improving the way a development team works, decided by the team itself, step by step, to really get things change!

I found this talk a bit too high level, trying to be both an introduction to the primary DDD building blocks as well as a how to do it in practice with PHP / Symfony, ending up with too less of both IMHO to be either satisfying to a complete DDD newbie or satisfying to someone who has studied already the theory but wants more practical tips for their implementation. From the talk's description, I expected a lot more practical examples.

Excellent introduction to RabbitMQ, primarily aimed at newbies. Made well use of the RabbitMQ simulator (http://tryrabbitmq.com/) to explain the core concepts of exchanges, queues and routing. All brought to the audience with the exact dose of humour.
