An entertaining start to the conference proper. Not sure about the jokes though!
Inspiring and well presented talk!
Sorry Cal, the jokes were really terrible 🤷♂️
A real good and convincing talk to try and start doing code review. Good structured and very well brought by the speaker. Good amount of tips and a great focus on the key points.
This was a fun and entertaining speaker and talk. Allot to see and take in and no way of actually remembering all this unless the slides are available somewhere.
I did not really know what I was in for when I walked in, but Cryptography interests me. I liked the explanations and that you indeed did not dive into the math and details of the actual Cryptography. Good examples on the why and how to use this, the history of it all. It all made allot of sense to someone not really knowing the first thing about it.
For the speaker I would like to suggest working on removing the "euh" from your speaking, but being the first time you gave this talk I think it went very well.
A good talk about these functions, I already knew them but did not consider them in the way the speaker explained it. I liked the readability arguments and the ways to use these things. Would have likes some more depth about this.
I walked out of this talk and just wanted to dive into PHPCS and play around with all the sniffs
Very passionate speaker, she knows her stuff and explained it clearly. I also really liked the demo's and that the audience was asked what we wanted to see sniffed / working. When presented with a not prepared question for a demo she fixed one real quick. The speaker was also not really set back by the laptop freezing up, and showed a great level of control.
Rather short talk, but overall interesting to hear. I also agree with the other comment of "Koen Cornelis"
Really liked the concept of finding people to present / throw ideas and finding people to actually help reduce / "shoot down" ideas. Also the parts with real / possible situations with customers was interesting.
I get that the fry-mobile on the first night of the conference has become a 'thing' but it's a pretty slow way to get food and damn cold waiting...
