Talk comments

Nothing really wrong with the talk itself, the Martin was obviously passionate about the subject and presented it well with good slides.

Personally it didn't really hold my attention.

I get how it relates to open source in general, but there was nothing really related to PHP aside from that common fact.

I don't think the talk was well matched to the audience. Sorry.

Chose this talk at random from the last 3, not really sure what it would be about (and not remembering the abstract).

Turned out to be a really useful and informative talk (happy accident!).

Very well presented, well spoken and well informed speaker, lots of appropriate references to real life examples and covered a wide variety of different software that could be used to accomplish the same end-game (felt very unbiased which is refreshing).

Pick a different name next time. It was kind of based on the assumption people knew what a "firehose" is. I didn't (at least not in this context), and it would be a shame for that small detail to put people off any future presentations on the subject.

Cheers!

Igorawsome talk dispelling some of the ill-founded myths surrounding event driven apps in PHP.

Well presented, humour was very appropriate to the target audience, amazing potential to be realised through React.

Been following the development of this API for a while, and was nice to see it presented in context by the author.

Really helpful and relevant examples that really drove home the point. Looking forward to evangelising this more come 5.5

I was a hater but Marcus cured me, I will be using Drupal for all future projects.

Impressive, it's not easy to deliver such a technical talk without losing the audience but it seems Ian was able to pull it off.

Thanks Ben, a great into to Behat.

Guys, good talk although I felt it was a little like watching a tag team when you kept switching places :o)

Nice talk Lorna, thanks - like you, I didn't realise we needed a built in web server in PHP but it looks super useful! I upgraded to PHP 5.4 as soon as your talk ended, I am ready to go... Traits, hmmm... I am not sure...
