By far one of my favorite talks of the entire conference. Very engaging, interesting, relevant and very well executed talk!!
Was very beginner and very poorly executed. Never should the speaker say that the topic of his talk is out of date and that the only reason he was there was to get in the conference.
A few months ago, I got a chance to see Eric Meyer speak, where he recounted Facebook's "Year in Review". It was an incredibly powerful talk, and Erin's talk dovetails into it perfectly. She speaks with a great cadence and a balance of humor and seriousness. Fantastic talk, important topic, and outstanding speaker.
Very well articulated talk. Learned a lot about the future of PHP7 and the challenges of migrating to it while still having backwards compatibility.
Just a few weeks ago, a colleague of mine introduced me to the concept of the 12-factor authentication. He showed off some of the things he was doing to get WordPress up-and-running with the 12-factor principles, but some areas were less-than-obvious to me.
Enter Michael, who *of course* has an answer for everything. Extremely enlightening talk that outlines the benefits of the 12-factor methodology without preaching "12-factor or GTFO"
While at points during this class there was little gems of learnings. I feel that he was unorganized and not very attentive the to the audience.
Excellent! Really enjoyable content presented in a really compelling way.
Fantastic way to close the conference. Eryn's clear delivery about an important topic (with accessible and powerful examples) should be required viewing for any dev shipping software. We all make assumptions and we all have biases, and if we don't try to keep those in mind, our software can do harm.
Important topic. Good examples to create empathy. Stressing having diverse people making things is so important.
Was interesting and useful information. I wish the text on the slides was larger!
