Clear and insightful presentation. Examples were interesting and tied in well to the subject. Could have used some more real world code examples.

Interesting high level discussion about best practices and scaling. Would have loved to see more in depth example of architectures.

Comprehensive, clear talk about some complicated new features of MySQL 8.

Ed was very good at explaining things, would have been 5 stars but some of the content wasn't very thorough. For example he talked about pdo and prepared statements but didn't get into how to bind parameters, straight pdo query methods, fetch and fetchAll etc. Overall a really good talk that I would recommend to anyone looking to start using php.

Excellent! Tim was a great speaker. One minor point was that, at times, he might have needed to slow down a little to ensure he could communicate better, the noobs like me in the room had a little hard time keeping up! Other than that, he was fantastic.

Clear explanations, practical hands-on exercises, well-presented. Would recommend.

Awesome content. Great presenter, very knowledgeable. I personally could have used more direction on the exercises, Instructor led at first and then on your own for the remainder.

Joe knows the subject matter and answered any and all questions expertly, including dealing with everyone's different local environment.

I have some Laravel experience so the pace was good but the subject matter in the beginning was too basic, but I knew that when I signed up.

The examples were simple and clear in the repo.

The only negative were:
1) a lot of information to process for newbies to follow along with
2) the problem all presenters have at training sessions like this: how to deal with those who's environments are not set up yet.
