Was more focused on MySQL than the actual interaction between the two, but very informative with a good final suggestion of "just learn SQL".

Enjoyable presentation, honest examples and good takeaway messages.

Very passionate about unit testing. The introduction to wp-cli and unit testing in general was awesome. A bit thicker of an example would have been helpful, but with the limited time, the example shown got the point across.

Reassured me that this not going down a pitfall laden path, and instead that it opens up great opportunities to leverage OOP and be more forward maintainable.

Great example of why you decouple. Clearly explained the considerations, costs and benefits. Walking us through the final implementation really highlighted how it paid off.

Good synergy between presenters. Examples were practical and easy to follow. Dove into detail a couple times to reassure that what's under the hood won't be mind-boggling as we begin to migrate existing modules.

Fun and enlightening talk. I'm looking forward to viewing his older talks to dig further into the material.
