I am a junior when it comes to understanding the internal working of the language.
I always used to wonder why my huge arrays took so long to process, I have been ignorant and thought that it is something that I have to deal with PHP. Your talk was an eye opener and I now learned something that I can use in my work and show off. Love you Elizabeth.
The talk was impressive. It sounded more personal, how we are handling our legacy enterprise applications. I respect the change to moving to a Distributed architecture like micro-services. Its takes a big learning curve and time.
That was an awe-inspiring PHP Anthem. Kudos and completely unexpected. Left me with smiles for several minutes.
I loved all the magical things we can do with docker by Chris.
I really really expected to have an hands on session. I downloaded all the repos and was so ready. Other than than it was awesome.
Great talk on alternatives to MySQL that are not MS SQL, or NOSQL solutions. Will defiantly look more into these options for future projects.
There was a lot of really good information in this talk, I think the whole thing was broken down and executed well content wise. I would like to suggest that the tone of delivery be a little less monotone, purely from a speech perspective. Much love and respect to the speaker, just my personal thought.
As I am just begging my journey into the php world I found this talk to be quite refreshing. The whole concept of crawling before you can walk that was described by Adam is something that will probably stick with me for the rest of my life and a breath of fresh air in this fast paced industry.
Great talk! I had never even heard of graph databases before this and will be exploring this soon!
Great talk about how we can be more effective if we pay close attention to our brains and how they work. The suggestions given to improve sleep and health are great and often forgotten in our fast paced world.
Being new to GIT and web development in general, I was expecting most of this talk to go over my head. Lorna did an excellent job however at explaining GIT in terms understandable by new and experienced users alike. Great job!
