Nice example-driven explanation of a concept which in practice is really straight forward, but at the same time bloody hard to explain. It's cleared up when and where to use it, why it's important and the effects it has.
Great presentation, Hugo is obviously experienced and it shows. The slides also make a huge difference, they were really well put together: the Sensio labs brand is strong and clear and it translates perfectly here.
There whole thing struck a good balance between introductory examples and inspiring possibility.
When people want to show off something they've made or sell, they frequently make the mistake of trying to say _everything_ about it. I think that's what happened here. We would have benefitted much more from an overview of the entire thing, and some short practical examples of how it can be extended.
I also found it quite hard to understand Thomas somtimes, and that was partly down to his heavy accent and partly because he adopted a pretty monotone pattern with a lot of 'erm's.
He did a good job of showing us the potential of the system, and even if most of us got lost I think we got the impression of it's obvious use and power.
Great topics well covered. The presentation could have been a little more fluent and entertaining. The fun parts were already in the slides but left unused.. Otherwise well done.
Even though I've been working with Silex quite a bit by now there was enough in this talk I could learn. Nice one!
Good overview. I knew Most of it already though.
The speaker was unnecessarily Self concious. He seems to very well know what He is talking about.
Just the introduction I expected. Good speaker, good slides, good examples.
I think it's a cool very useful Bundle. I expected a less deep Intro though. You lost me half way through
Excellent
So inspiring. Removed a lot of the perceived barriers to contributing - you don't have to be Fabien Potencier to contribute something of value. It was also an eye opener into why and how it's important. Both Stefan & Christian are excellent speakers as well, and the two of them worked together really well. Really enjoyed it.
