Ed blew my mind.
Very entertaining and useful talk. I'm going to implement the CSS hidden field when I get back! Of course I'll use the other methods to block the paid 5yo Malaysian boys ;)
Amazing keynote. Encompassed what key values a keynote should have. It was compelling and really got people in the crowd to think. In this case to think about keeping things SIMPLE and to stop over-complicating, but more important perhaps, to stop scoffing our noses at simplicity as being 'bad'.
Great talk Kristina. You clearly demonstrated a deep knowledge of the subject. Loved your modular format and engaging the audience. You appeared a bit nervous, that will go away with practice. I hope to see you at many more events!
I'm a little biased but this was an awesome talk. My only suggestion: stepping people through actual implementations of practical examples of reasonable complexity.
Great talk as always Josh. I was just telling Cal last night that Enterprise="Run it forever" but I didn't realize you were looking for those dirty little secrets :)
Awesome presentation, as always from Ed. Great information and IMO did a great job walking the non-JS coders in the room through TRULY understanding how JS works, and how it's object model is very different (Prototype based) than PHP's (Class based)
Great topic very easily exposed, but i would have liked more details and technical info.
This is, quite simply, the best keynote I've seen at a PHP conference, ever. Well done, Josh.
Excellent and inspiring keynote on the value and difficulty of simplicity. Loved the related quotes from historical figures. Not sure I cared for the introspective/self-answering questions style in which it was presented, but the content itself and Josh's passionate presentation was outstanding.
