Great talk on something new and far less heard-of.

The one thing that could be improved to have a bit more punch is near the end showing a non-contrived demo of a real project with property testing in action - something that's already built. The theoretical power of this was explained, but we didn't get that wow moment of actually seeing it tackle something real.

Very engaging presentation style and very receptive to questions. By the end of the presentation, it seemed like everyone in the room had a good grasp of the subject matter.

Excellent talk. Margaret has got to be one of the livest speakers I've ever seen. Her tales of how the game came from a set of conceptual ideas into an actual thing, detailing mistakes, misconceptions, and lessons learned made the talk very entertaining and informative.

Awesome presentation. Awesome story.

Thanks.

Thanks for the great summary on promises and generators. Definitely going to look into both of these some more.

I've seen other presentations on generators and promises, and I felt Evert has done the best job I've seen in clearly and concisely explaining these concepts. The coding examples were perfect in helping cut through the magic of promises and generators and help me understand exactly what's going on. Evert has great pacing and his delivery was engaging.

Really good presentation that presented some really good points that go against conventional wisdom we typically hear about in the name of enhancing the user experience for payments (like why we SHOULD store credit cards).

My only suggestion is to provide a counter argument of why/when you wouldn't follow such advice (i.e. when it would be better to just use a payment gateway and not store cards)

Good presentation to warn users of pitfalls of the framework. Useful code walkthrough.
However, I feel there is wrong attitude being promoted. A lot of the problems Chris blamed framework for seemed as design negligence, not doing due diligence to the process. Any good language, framework, or technique can be used in harmful ways.
