Need to stay in touch with this promising service
It was not "Migrating your ZF1 app to ZF2"
No real solutions for "strangled" way
- no real solutions for parallel operation of ZF1 and ZF2
- no real solutions to migrate forms (complex custom decorators, complex validation)
- no solution for reusing of zf1 modules in zf2 projects (gracefull migration)
On the other side "The Big Bang" way explained very good - how one should re-write his ZF1 web applications from scratch.
It should be called not "Migrating your ZF1 app to ZF2", but "ZF2 Crash course for ZF1 developers"
Learned alot of this 1. It is great that you used real life use cases. Was very interesting.
Davey is a compelling and interesting speaker, and hearing his expert opinions on a subject he obviously knows a lot about was really informative. I only have to apologise to Davey for having to leave for a few minutes half way through to take an emergency call - Sorry Davey!
Really enjoyed, it's useful to understand how things like Nginx work using a language I'm familiar with.
Nice to be vindicated in the way we presently work, plus some new ideas. Thanks Ivo.
Really really interesting, I'd love to start using these techniques now. I should take a star off for the disappointment when I found out that the SCL is not available yet, but I won't.
Very disappointing, rather weak, no disagreements at all (which was a little disappointing). It came across more as mutual back slapping than an actual keynote.
Just great
