Talk comments

Nice keynote, light and amusing but with some interesting stuff about php 6.

It's probably impossible to make an internals talk "fun" so rating that would be unfair - but the talk was informative and clear, with solid examples. Sebastian was willing to go the extra mile to take us through the process step by step. Whilst I wouldn't recommend the talk to everybody - for those that wanted what it said on the tin, it delivered.

I had never really looked at PHP in this way so found the talk very useful. While I probably still won't (at least for now) it certainly opened my eyes to a wider PHP world. The talk was well presented with examples and "audience interaction"

It gave some insight into what parts are involved into adding functionality (not extension related) and some background information about the scanner(s), etc. It is a topic for a special crowed I think, but you handled it quite well.

Now this was a quick touristic ride through the bumpy landscape of charset, character encoding and unicode!
Love the hands-on examples of how to do it right. Slides are compulsory for every webdev, not only PHP!

And Joel Spolsky can rest assure that *finally* is done about the issue.

Thanks for this excellent talk!

Great talk. Good overview. Easy to understand. And of course an interesting topic.

Very good talk, I wish I've heard some of this stuff 2 years ago.

The ultimate introduction into REST. I have been interested in REST for a long time now, but some areas were a bit unclear to me. Appears these are exactly the issues which are still most debated in the community.

The very simple 3-step REST design examples were really good, have the feeling I can now define a good REST api in just half an hour.

Interesting problems analysed by someone who is, err, really near the heat. Could have been so much more interesting, the depth of the problem space was only revealed during the Q&A session afterwards.
