a very good salesman. I orderded the book. But seriously excellent opener and funny way of bringing a reality check to i guess 95% of the audiance :)

I was bored pretty quick too. The pace was too slow for my taste and not enough depth.

When people are leaving the room, you may want to cut the question part, especially when 2 or 3 people are only talking with each other.

And the comment that PHP code is always dirty and Java is pretty and clean... Really?? You might be at the wrong conference ;)

Good talk, always love some "dirty hacks" and some were real dirty, especially the overloading of the file stream wrapper and replacing code in the file :D. Too bad it was short, maybe add some more (related) topics so it fill the 45 minutes.

Good talk, good speaker. Harrie touched the real problem once (the new "type" table in a branche and a new "type" table in trunk which will collide when merging), but he never came with a solution/direction to that problem, that would've given it more depth. The delta's/migration/db patches itself aren't rocket science of course.

I wouldn't mind more normal slides and less photo's with some kind of "metaphor", bit too much for me.

Favourite talk so far, very well presented. Its great to see some of the stuff facebook are giving back to PHP. Some great additional PHP functions to look into in esp. fb_parallel_query() ?

Very interesting talk about PHP internals and a new blog to subscribe to :)

Well presented, all stuff I've read/heard before but was good to have it all together in one sitting

Agree with other comments made, have heard good things about Derek's other talks so it was a shame.

I really liked the presentation because it wasn't all technology as you might expect. From a pure programmer point of view it may be to much about non-tech stuff, but I personally am very interested in the non-tech parts. Good slides too. Maybe a little too much information in 45 minutes. Lorenzo you might want to slow down a little, so you don't rush your English.
