Interesting topic, good introduction, just enough to make me want to hear more on the subject ;)
Very nice general overview of the subject. Would be good for none technical managers to watch.
Perfect prove that Automattic needs to do a lot of work on their not so open source product!
Noticed that mike's english is better when he does not try so hard to articulate. Maybe a little bit of work on intonation. The talk itself was good and easy to understand. Interaction with public was good too.
Enjoyable intro to the day with lots of good, solid tips.
Lots of areas covered, not enough detail or time spent on key areas.
If you have the book (and everyone who attended a tutorial day does) then there wasn't much to be gained by this keynote. But thanks for the book!
Great demonstration of HipHop and how easily it can be used (once setup ;)). A shame that Wordpress crashed the demonstration with weird code constructs (of which I am not surprised HipHop cannot handle it).
Was nice to hear. But if you read the 1999 book 'the pragmatic programmer' you know al 97 rules already.
nice teaser for the main talk in the main conference. now to get HipHop set up... ;)
