Talk comments

Much of trivial. I get bored in few minutes and almost slept. Try to focus more in real problems/solutions, do not waist time in small details.

good presentation-style, well designed slides and really interesting topic. Even though the break was shorter because of the longer presentation time, the quantity of information was perfect.

very interesting topic, good presentation and nice t-shirts! :)

Intersting topic, but not the best presentation (always moving around with mouse pointer) and examples: From my perspective of view examples about (event-driven) windows desktop applications would not really help in implementing (event-driven) webapplications or their backends.

I don't think web tech is dead, but mobile is rising star consumer of data: be ready to get connected to that consumer. Interesting if somewhat overly dramatic presentation - but if you want to get a point across you have to exaggerate a bit, right? :)

No one better to open the conference! Awesome content and how the presenter pass it to the public. It is what most of the talks are missing, make the developers think and not just how to do.

Great talk - enjoyed this rapid fire look at elastic beanstalk for php. The command line slides gave me a feel for the various steps involved in deployment and while I'm not sure EB is the platform for me I'll definitely look it up after this talk.

Also, noted the secret key in the slides. ALL YOUR SERVERZ ARE MINE.

Very interesting presentation from technical point of view as from philosophical was.

Agree with the others comments. Awesome speaker, knows exactly what is saying, but wasn't intermediate level.

Also, the samples was too basic. You can include more real cases, like actions (ie, active account), searches. The approach for same cases, like when return more data or do more requests.

Lorna: actually the link to your files was present on the tutorials description page ( http://www.phpconference.nl/tutorials#lorna-web-services ) in advance. So I guess people who had to still download it at the starting point were probably a bit lazy or didn't really prepare.
