Very interesting, good presentation style + slides!

Really interesing topic, but the beginning of the presentation was a bit hard to follow... I think every webdeveloper knows something about apache and is able to config it with its basic configuration, but going into deep details of Ngnix after 5min was eventually a litte bit to quickly as other people told me too.

Not really what I was expecting, but that doesn't make it less interesting. Geolocation-related customer questions just got a bunch of new answers and starting points to look, for me. Presentation itself could've -maybe- used some code samples for the different services and systems (like the MongoDB example), and some less ip-based locating (short version: it works, but not really well). Good talk though, all in all.

For my perspective, this was a presentation of the MVC architecture, which I think everbody (each php developer) must have heard before. Therefore I wished that the topic goes into more detail - unfortunately it was not the case.

Really good presentation (right mixture of theory and examples) und interesting topic. I must try this!! :)

Very comprehensible and informative talk - accessible despite going pretty deep into the subject. While the talk didn't make me sure I can personally use this and how performance is versus regular PHP it did give me enough info to know what it is, how it works, what I need to do to use PHAR and what I can do with it once I got the basics down. Basically I can now go and see what I can achieve with it without spending a couple of hours researching the absolute basics.

Good presentation as well, despite 1 demo not demo-ing.

Having the same issues as Jacob - no real-world implementation ideas for any of the concepts really. The command line server is a nice idea, but not very relevant for people 'all setup'. Binding objects and breaking the object model is something I don't want to do - even if I'd manage to implement it correctly there'd always be a slightly lazy / uninformed colleague who would copy the code, adjust some small things, and accidentially returns personal data in a __toString() call instead of the intended object's info.

I don't think we even mentioned 5.3 at all, but to be honest - there's an awful lot of 5.4 to talk about in 45 minutes - and it was presented well. Double props for presenting so clearly and enthousiastically and taking on everyone's questions despite your hearing issues and the people with questions being as far in the back as possible.

I hoped there would be more about Zend framework from a lead developer of it...

one of the best and interesting presentations I've ever heard!

Pretty good stuff. In particular the slides about "design for colour-blind persons" were really interesting and opened my eyes another time.
