Talk comments

Nice way of explaining asymmetric cryptography, AV heuristics and (basic) virology :)

Nice talk from a very good speaker. I got the point quite early in the presentation, which made it sort of lengthy.

You gave for every principle a good example of how you should work them in your code. Always fun to see someone play with the extended possibilities of PHPStorm.

This was a beginners talk, not intermediate as displayed on the website.

Sometimes bit hard to understand, spoke fast.

You should use the Agile testing quadrant as the starting point en place the different tests in it as you explain the quadrant. Not everyone has a full understanding of every test, which makes it more difficult to discuss them. You did explain most of them, but mostly further in the discussion.

We could feel there was less preparation for this session, a missed opportunity

A good non-technical workshop, I liked the way we could work with post-its to give input. You should however look into the way you place the group during the session. A circle with everyone seated is a very good way to ensure everyone can see each other, but during some discussions of post-it inputs you had the whole group standing up. Might be a better idea to have them seated again and bring the post-its to the group with the flip charts.

If you want to pinpoint different personality types in a team you could try to go for more than intro/extraverted people.

A human factor of the open source.
Very interesting keynote.

Sorry to hear that the talk did not match your expectations at all. Any chance you could send me more info (e.g. via email) what you did expect from the talk or what topics you missed? As I stated this is the first time I gave the talk. I am pretty eager to learn how to improve it.

Very informative and high quality presentation.
However - as it was conference for developers I would expect more about practical aspects and slightly less theory with maths behind hash functions.
