a good introduction to a very identifying challenge on versioning database architectural changes, was hoping on getting examples on the solutions presented, but at least it confirmed we're investigating the right tools.

Fantastic people! but pasta was really not al dente!
Late and tired to really shoot out anyone but still pleasant and relaxed talk. Perhaps techie questions to *all* of the representatives could have created more competition, as expected.
Entertaining talk by Scott and the FB crew in the room, though HipHop seems to be a niche product for very big installations. Not PHP 5.3 yet and some extensions not included as not needed by FB of course. The talk was very informative on how hiPHoP converts PHP code into C++ but doesn't seem to apply to real life examples.
Good Star Trek... ehm... ZF talk by Rowan. The coding slides were a bit too many but gave a proper idea about the freedom of implementation, the challenges of ACL and the choices to make. Not sure Kirk would have appreciated all the permissions granted to all those people but the "logic" was impeccable and greatly helpful in real world applications.
I was expecting something more on CI, useful as an introduction to the CI and automation world but some more information on Sonar and how it can be sold to business people, configured to show tech debts, some real values and tables with comparisons etc would have been appreciated. Well structured but a bit too generic.
Good one, useful and practical, I would suggest it to business/sales people too
Nice to see that we don't have to stick to Google Maps! It's nice to offer to clients as it's a service themselves and their customers will be familiar with but Open Street Maps would be great for an unbranded map or for doing more complicated things with.
A great, subjective talk from Derick on an interesting topic.
