Excellent content clearly explained and just the right entertainment factor to keep the audience engaged - you are a fantastic speaker and an asset to the community.
Thanks!
T'was ace!
A nice introduction which covered enough of the basics to get a feel for how docker works.
It might be an improvement to see if you can shorten the slides and make a little bit more room for the hands on stuff. Although I do realise there's an awful lot to cover in a 1/2 day session.
Lots of ideas for increasing my development tools (already use VMs, Vagrant, PHPStorm - on a Linux laptop :D ) - the monitoring and logging sections have given me thoughts on perhaps replacing NewRelic in our live environment: quite well presented and nice longs lists (thanks for uploading the slides, no way would I have managed to note everything!).
Might have just been worth mention some "gotchas" - such as Virtual Document Roots need a small "patch" to fix DOCUMENT_ROOT and you will need to set DNS (I have *.localdomain setup using dnsmasq ) and additional tools (such as the Vagrant public cloud allowing third parties to review running sites on your machine).
Good talk and ideas - especially in regarding avoiding personalisation of reviews. However, I would have liked less "reading from slides" style - although it was nice to see a fellow Ubuntu user ;)
It's given me plenty of direction now how to implement Composer in our current setup - we know we've not been using it to its full potential, but Stephan's talk has given me thoughts and ideas of how to do it.
Good talk, shame it got cut short. Slides were a little hard to read but the subject of the talk was really apt and should be encouraged more.
