Talk comments

So unfortunate that this didn't work out, I was really looking forward to see the concept in action! A possible explanation might be that not everyone know what a Quickfire is. I didn't, but once it was explained to me, I really wanted to check it out.

John saved the day though(and Mark, go Mark!), by making it a nice discussion instead.

A treat to listen to, it was such a funny, inspiring, and brave presentation. And I really liked the ending, to be able to deliver a talk that pushes emotional buttons is a sign of a true professional.

Don't ever stop, Aral!

Excellent. Agreed, something different for the two days would have been nice.

Phil had a great presentation and the involvement of the audience was a great way to demo the technology (when it worked). He was also pushing (no pun intended) his own brand, which other speakers here have been criticised for. I don't see any real problem with that so much.

This is something I am definitely going to play with in the next few days, I have some polling scripts I can replaced with Pusher.

I would have liked perhaps a little bit less information and have things covered a bit more. The title says "resolving MySQL problems", but no solutions to common issues were offered purely lots of different ways to find different issues. But perhaps it was to high of a level for me. the Expert should have been a key :D

I think once the video and slides show up I will be able to get a little bit more out of it at a slower pace.

It was a good talk but it felt like Bastian was trying to fit in a talk twice as long as the time he was given.
