I enjoyed the talk and it had good examples. The live coding part was actually just a screen recording.
The examples were clear about cars which made the topic fairly easy to understand, but wasn't clear how to move this to a more typical coding scenario.
The phpunit annotations for exceptions are no longer recommend - best link I can find (https://thephp.cc/news/2016/02/questioning-phpunit-best-practices)
Good talk on the SOLID principals, This is something all developers should know and did explain them clearly.
I found the text being shown far too small and too much code per slide.
Great topic and really needed. Unfortunately it felt as though it was all read from the screen which made the talk much less engaging.
The personal experience part was really good. Would have liked to hear if it was the one event which made the team leave or if what happened was a build up of other events.
This talk could be great with a few tweaks.
Sorry, was not sure what is the best way to share URL for the repo used in Multithreading talk, so I decided to post it here: https://gitlab.com/sdolgushev/phpuk2019-pthreads
Brilliant talk!
Amazing workshop!
So much useful and interesting information in less than 1 hour! Brilliant!
Very nice and informative talk which was delivered in easy to understand way!
The talk was greate, and if you had skipped the general intro (verbs etc), the would have been brilliant. I loved your (Symfony) coding slides :-)
Great introduction to go.
