Good introduction to the language, this was actually something that I have been looking for in the back of my head. Presentation was very clear and good. Will definitely give Go a try!
Nice to see these tools demonstrated. Looks very promising. The only downside is that regarding the title, I expected a little more focus on really "tuning performance" instead of "performance profiling" and finding bottlenecks. Unexpected but still very insightful.

Best talk of the conference. I'm going to invest some time in HHVM and Hack because of this talk.
A nice insight in the architecture of Etsy. A down to earth and practical solution instead of an architecture full of buzzwords and alpha level software.

I'm not doubting Josh's capabilities, but I must say that the scrum bashing was a bit over the top. I can be wrong off course, but I had the impression that he did not really had a full understanding of a correct implemented scrum process. On the other hand, he was right on a lot of topics imho, but the bashing just put me off.
Overal a good talk with a gentle introduction to the observer pattern. It was also nice to see that there were some good SOLID practices used in getting to the end result.
Nice talk and a good overview of anti patterns.
