It was a blast! Drank a bit too much though ;)
Excellent talk of an interesting subject. I really like the idea behind stack and the usage of middleware for http requests/responses, something you more in other languages.
It did feel like it wasn't really mature and I as surprised to heard it probably doesn't have a bright future (due to PSR-7). But the idea of using middleware (for other area's) is inspiring!
I was thrown off by the "UIs" in the title, and the phrase is repeated in the description. I know a bit about CQRS and was attracted by that UI side, but unfortunately the talk contained almost nothing on that subject. To be fair, we were warned at the start of the talk, but I'm not that big on standing up and leaving.
The talk itself wasn't bad, it explained the basics of CQRS well. But is wasn't awesome either. It could've been a bit more fluent (just practice!), and maybe add some sugar to it (in stead of plainly explaining what it is). And definitively change the title/description to reflect the talk better.
PS: I hope I'm not received as harsh, the (negative) feedback is meant to help!
Good introduction to Flysystem.
I will definitely give it a try in one of the next projects.
I was looking forward to this keynote and it didn't delude me. Awesome talk, very inspiring.
Very inspirational talk! Thank you
One of the best I've attended! Very inspiring message, and I really liked the "homework" (I wrote down a lot). It's effects will definitively last for quite some time!
A bit anxious - which I can relate to - but there was no reason to as the presentation was fine. Maybe one nitpick would be the structure - maybe a book tip that helped me personally: "100 things every presenter needs to know about people" !
we also managed to do a brainfuck interpreter in parallel. the tutorial itself was great!
Good informative talk about Slack.
I have used already in a project in the past, but it is always useful to have more information about it.
I liked a lot the fluency of the talk.
