I only caught the last half of this, but what I saw was really great. the examples were well done and comprehensive. David seemed very comfortable with the topic and was able to handle all of the questions that were thrown at him. This talk also served as an excellent reinforcer of the topics covered in the SPL talk this morning.
Presenter was very animated and enthusiastic about the subject. This presentation helped alleviate the fear of writing tests and refactoring old pasta code.
Entertaining speaker & slides. Have a lot of places to go look at in our environment, now, to see where we can improve performance.
Picked up some interesting notes on standardizing versioning and a brief introduction to composer, however as far as i can tell composer requires Zend, which is not used in my work environment so I had to leave early to see if there was another talk that had more relevant to my work, but Rafael is an engaging and humorous speaker and what I saw of the talk was useful and informative.
A lot of good info to take back to the team for when we plan our testing strategy going forward.
Great historical introduction to the anecdotal process of naming patterns and the distortion of MVC. Paul was clear and easy to understand. His insight was thoughtful and interesting. He did a very good job presenting the concept of ADR to the audience and then following up with examples and compelling responses to questions.
Lots of great insight into dev & deployment from obvious experience.
Glad to learn I'm not the only one who bypasses Magento Connect and installs manually.
Was a bit quick in places, probably due to the limited time allotted, but still learned a lot.
An interesting talk, although unfortunately irrelevant to my working environment so I had to leave early to try to find a session that was. Davey seemed confident and comfortable wit the material and the part of the talk I saw was very info dense.
Great presentation. Lots of useful stuff I hope to implement with our team. Talk ran long and I'm betting good stuff got left out because of that.
Best professional development talk I've ever attended. Good common sense advice presented masterfully with humor and heart.
