As someone who has used MySQL in the past, it is great information to see how MySQL has evolved. I hope to use MySQL in the future.

Was excellent. I don't really use the SPL a lot myself and it appears very interesting. However, finding opportunities where you can use the SPL is a bit difficult.

This is a good talk with a lot of information and really useful tips that are even useful outside of the Magento context. To improve it, I would recommend to add a little juice: a few images, recordings or demos. Seeing the same layout and colors in slides most of the time introduces change blindness and gets a little boring.

Well done. Was ready to be mystified, but it all made sense. Looks like everything I do now in D7 has an apples-to-apples equivalent in D8.
