As a non-Drupal developer looking in, this was a fantastic overview of how Drupal has modernized its codebase. It's also a great example for _other_ projects attempting to do the same.
Some of arrogant programmers many think WP is not a real, based on number of WP domination web traffic tells different story.
Nice presentation where I could relate to the legacy programming. Although I'm not that bad, I do get lazy and do some legacy coding for some of small projects.

It is a clever way to manage WP site. I like the idea but again I'm not sure it is a good idea to block WP auto-update and uploading project to cloud would violate business practice.
